El documental de El Imán y el Pastor ha sido seleccionado para ser proyectado en la V Edición del Festival Musulmán de Cine Internacional "El Ninbar de Oro", en Rusia (del 30 de septiembre al 4 de octubre de 2009). Alan Channer, director del filme ha sido invitado a participar del festival.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que l'imam Mohamed Ashafa et le pasteur James Wuye se sont vus attribués le Prix de la Fondation Jacques Chirac pour la prévention des conflits.

Imam Muhammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye have won the Fondation Chirac Prize for Conflict Prevention. They have accepted the Prize, which goes to support their work, and will attend to the ceremony on 6 November in Paris, at la Sorbonne. Former President of France Jacques Chirac, Kofi Annan and members of the jury of the Prize will attend.

The Imam and the Pastor has been selected to be screened at the 5th edition of the International Festival of Muslim Cinema «Golden Minbar» in Russia (30 September to 4 October 2009). The film director, Alan Channer has been invited to attend the festival.

Une série de projections et de débats ont marqué le lancement du documentaire « L’Imam et le pasteur » en Egypte, du 27 mai au 5 juin. Ce lancement coïncidait avec la visite du Président Barack Obama et son discours historique à l’université du Caire sur les relations entre les Etats-Unis et le monde musulman. Imad Karam, un des réalisateurs du film pour le compte de la société de production FLTfilms liée à I&C, et sa femme Amira nous envoient ce reportage, dont est traduit ici l’essentiel. 

Una serie de proyecciones y debates significativos se llevaron a cabo en Egipto, del 27 de mayo al 5 de junio, marcando así el lanzamiento en el país de la versión árabe del premiado documental El Imán y el Pastor. El lanzamiento coincidió con la visita del Presidente Barack Obama a Egipto y su histórico discurso en la Universidad del Cairo, sobre las relaciones entre los Estados Unidos y el Mundo Musulmán. Imad Karam, quien trabaja en el Reino Unido conFLTfilms de IdeC, y su esposa Amira, reportan.

A series of significant screenings and debates took place in Egypt, 27 May – 5 June, to mark the launch in the country of the Arabic version of the award-winning documentary film The Imam and the Pastor. The launch coincided with President Barack Obama’s visit to Egypt and his historic keynote speech at Cairo University on the relationship between the United States and the Muslim World. Imad Karam, who works with Initiatives of Change's FLTfilms in the UK, and his wife Amira, report.

De populaire film over de imam en de dominee uit Nigeria is nu ook in het Arabisch. Eind maart vond in Libanon de officiële presentatie van de Arabische versie plaats onder beschermheerschap van de President van Libanon die werd vertegenwoordigd door Ibrahim Shamseldeen, minister van ontwikkeling. De presentatie, in een overvolle zaal van de Universiteit van Sint Jozef, was onderdeel van het programma voor verzoening van Adyan, de Libanese Stichting voor interreligieus onderzoek en geestelijke solidariteit.
