Trustbuilding tools shared in Vancouver

“I think I will need to somehow remind myself daily of this workshop in order to faithfully apply it to my life and professional practice” said one participant in a workshop on the “trust factor” hosted in Vancouver by the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) on September 15th.

Trustbuilding across the Canadian/U.S. border

Eleven people gathered in Calgary, Alberta, for a 4-day intensive Trustbuilding training facilitated by Cricket White, IofC’s Training and Facilitation Director from the U.S. This week demonstrated the value of teamwork across the Canadian/U.S. border.

L’Imam et le Pasteur – Ottawa, January 23, 2009

The first public screening of the French language version of the Imam & the Pastor in Ottawa took place at Saint Paul University on Friday, January 23. The event was a collaboration between the Conflict Studies program of the university and Initiatives of Change.

The panel consisted of Philothée Kigeme from Burundi, a student in Conflict Studies, Oscar Gasana, a federal civil servant, graduate from the Masters in conflict studies program, former President of the Rwandan community association, and Abdourahman Kahin, psychologist, originally from Djibouti, who represented Muslim Presence.
