Metropolitan Richmond Day
This annual event convenes leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss key regional issues, and to encourage partnership across differences of race, class and jurisdiction. Since 1996 Hope in the Cities has brought stimulating and provocative speakers to Richmond to explore historic perspectives, current realities, and future hopes for regional cooperation in the Richmond metropolitan area.

Wallace Stettinius, former Chairman and CEO of Cadmus Communications Corporation, will be the keynote speaker. Stettinius, who has invested much time and energy in community building in the metropolitan region, will speak on the theme of 'the trust factor in bridging the socio-economic divides'.
